From our prayer letter: Dec 31, 2024

 Thanksgiving and Prayer

1. Travel and family visits: Praise God for safe travel back and forth from Ecuador to the US and our trip to Scotland and the rich visits we had with family in both Scotland and Ohio!
 
2. Health: We have spent the past week in Quito visiting doctors, dentists and getting tests. Pray for our ongoing health.

3. Ross' Research: Thank you for praying for our podcast with author Jane Vella (93). Please continue to pray for the longer term results as I work on translating some of her principles into Spanish for our research center. Pray for our upcoming topics and speakers: 1. Institutes for Orality Strategies with Dr. Charles Madinger, 2. Dr. Tom Steffen on Character Theology, 3. Dr. Dan Allender on The Wounded Heart and their teaching on Narrative Focused Trauma Care. 

4. Trauma Healing Workshops: Pray for wisdom for Mary in our planning for 2025 and the requests to teach healing groups and train facilitators. Pray for our continued training to move from Facilitator to Facilitator Trainers. 

5. Pray for our Hebrew and Greek courses: Combined we now have over 70 students on our online platform. Pray for Ross who is teaching the Greek course, and Scott Edgren (a missionary friend from our former mission, GMU/Avant) who is teaching the Hebrew course. 

6. Pray for new national workers and missionaries to join our regional team in the areas of research, Bible training, and trauma healing.
